late 19th century racism (as an ideology performed by the intellectual
elite of Anglo-saxonia. See quotes from Darrwin, Wallace . . . )
militantly affirmed that civilized (read White)
Man was sui generis: there was no Inner Ape. That view has by
now, at least in elite intellectual circles, been thoroughly
demolished. Nevertheless aggression and violence, especially of alpha
males among Chimpanzees,
continues to be addressed by politically active people and moderately
educated citizens as a problem in today's world as somehow entirely
disconnected from our primate inheritance. I posit not only the
obvious (de Waal, Marcus, Whiten etc), but also an hypothesis that
patrimonial power is an elaboration but not transcendence of "dominance
asserted through violenceor threat"--that "Trump" and "Putin" draw upon and elaborate within the semiotic web of civilization a Chimpanzee Politics of alpha male domination as opposed to the political praxis of republicanism. This is the central conflict that gives us the "faction" fight within the UAW from 1933 to 1943 (dates are necessarily arbitrary, but the necessity of dealing with/constructing intervals remains). This "faction fight" maps onto McMahon; together, the faction fight and McMahon map onto the two-party system in the United States. |

patrimonial power/regimes is an elaboration but not transcendence of "dominance asserted through violence or threat draw upon and elaborate within the semiotic web of civilization a a politcs of alpha-maleism. What we see today in the Trump phenom is a performance of alpha male domination through a politics of identification mediated by media and local cultures (gyms, bars, salons, small groups such as the militia (White-Hot Hate). This is made possible by the enormous webs of think tanks, media, political consultants, soth that the leverage of the Ffuher is as a result enormous, especially for angry males for whom the pssiblities of entering adulthood have been undermined by Globalization Enlightenment/Progressive (including "marxist" which on this level of anlaysis is indistinguishable from Enl.Prog) synthetic a prior is summarized by . . . . . Thisis the context in which to comprehend (1) The Sermon on the Mount.
It is ironic, to say the least, that the "Christian Party" spits
on the Sermon on the Mount with every step, every breath it takes;
and it is equally striking that the entire apparatus of Liberal media
seems unable to make anything of this, unable to even point this
out. The intellectual bancruptcy of Liberalism is thus
exposed. In this text citizen Christ points out the fundamental
problems homo sapiens faces
in complex societies. This text, taken as a secular document
rather than as the word of you know who, remains foundational, is even
more alive today than it was then, and the probmeatic its addresses is
with us still, anbd in a more pressing form, with greater urgency |

perhaps of even greater significance than the scientific revolution

nomothetic (scientific-materialist reductionist empricism) is only

of these encounters, I followed a thread to the FDR Library, stumbled
into the papers of Morris L. Cooke, and the result was Figure ___, the Keynesian Elite in the New Deal State. |
